Thank You

Howdy friends and fellow crafters.  Like I've said before I'm playing catch up on my cards lol.  Here is just a simple card to say Thank You to that special person.  I used a white for the card base and then layered it with an elegant silver.  The fun part of this card was the embellishments on the front.  I die cut the same design 4 times, ran it through my creative Xyron Station, stuck all 4 together and then cut the design in half.  Yep just cut it right in half, I used some embossing ink and then dipped it into silver a couple of times and then get this just dropped a bit of gold in area's.  I think it's too cool.  Then I embossed the word "Thank You" on the front and there ya go.  Hope you like it?

Thank You

Happy Birthday

Howdy friends and fellow crafter's.  I've been a busy beaver here lately but always have to take time out to craft.  A day would not be complete without crafting.  Ok now onto my card, I used pink for the main card and used a peeled painted look for the background.  I used my new die and stamp set from Stampendous and I fell in love.  I used a watercolor technique with my distress markers.  I added a few pearls to the corner's and in the middle of my flower.  I had so much fun painting these that I even added one on the inside.  Hope you like it.

Happy Birthday

Happy Anniversary

Howdy friends and fellow crafters.  Well, here is number 2 of the 11 Anniversary Cards I'm making for my hubby on our 11th Anniversary.  It's very simple, I used some romantic silver paper and embossed it with this elegant background.  Then I die cut 8 little banner flags and put them together one on top of the other to hold the letter's "LOVE".  Around that I used a silvery studded frame with a blue bow at the top.  I embossed the word's Happy Anniversary in Denim Blue and then added some white see through flowers with a bit of bling.  I hope you like it even better I hope hubby likes it.

Time to Celebrate

Howdy friends and fellow crafter's.  It's been awhile since I've been crafting due to an illness but getting much better.  So for me it's "Time to Celebrate" woo.hoo, coming up in June on the 7th, will be our 11th Anniversary.  7-11 has to be a lucky year, right?  So I'm on a challenge to make 11 cards for my hubby.  Here's the first....I used the Color Me Clock card topper and used color box chalk inks in cheeky, clover and periwinkle to add some color to the front.  Wow alot of "C"'s in that one.  Then I cut out around the front to make it unusual, but then I had to make a prop on the inside so it would stand up.  Then I punched out some hearts and attached them to some translucent strips so they would float when the card was open.  With a total of 8 hearts I added a cupcake with 3 candles on it to make 11.  Hope you enjoy this one.

Mothers Day

Howdy friends and fellow crafter's.  I hope your week is going good for ya'll.  Mine has been a little slower than normal.  Or maybe I'm just a little slower. lol  Either way I did manage to turn out another Mother's Day card.  I tried one of the Card Toppers from Hot off the Press and painted it with my gel sticks, I think it turned out pretty cool.  I then attached it to some chocolate brown card stock and added some bling.  I used some pearls at the bottom edge and used a mauve colored one in the middle of each flower and then used a gold for the "M" in Mother's.  I hope you like it.

Happy Mother's Day

Howdy friends and fellow crafter's.  Wow what a weekend it has come and gone so fast it doesn't seem like I got a thing done.  I just want to quickly share with you a sweet little Mother's day card I made for one of my daughter in-laws.  I used the color purple for the base, I added an embossed white piece that I also trimmed the edge.  I used some mulberry paper in shades of purple for the band and cut out the design with a die.  I added a few simple flowers which always top off a card perfectly.  I hope you like it.

Happy Mother's Day

Howdy friends and fellow crafter's, I sure hope that your week is going great.  I've been busy going back and forth to doctor's but it's all good.  I took some time out to make a Mother's Day card.  I have lost my mom about 2 years ago now but she was an awesome mom for sure and is missed more and more everyday.   On the other hand I have the most awesome Mother in-law and just love her to death.  She is german, very out spoken and works very hard for family and church.  Love her so very much and I feel blessed to call her mom.  Ok now on to the card lol.  I used the color black for my base and then added paper from the Paper Studio line.  The bottom layer is from their Classic collection and then I took a scrap piece I had laying around of a beige color and cut a frame freehand and then put a liner with a black corrugated paper on which I added some Sookwang tape and attached it to the inside of the frame.  I then added a piece of paper from the Printery collection.  I added a couple of burlap flowers on which I added a different brad into the middle of the flowers.  I used my cricut to cut out the Happy Mother's Day and used some pearl embellishment for the bling effect.  I finally used a set of rub-on's I've held onto for just the right reason, I rubbed the top part of the women and then added the skirt over and used some gel effects over the top of her and the women that was added onto the inside.  Hope you enjoy.
